WOW…It’s been almost a month since I posted anything…and the last thing I posted was just a repeat of a story I wrote 3 years earlier. I am such a slacker.
Anyway, I’ve been keeping myself VERY busy with “stuff.” I don’t think there is really any other way to describe what I’ve been up to. I’ve been backing up my computer, reinstalling Windows and all the other programs, and backing up that installation. I built food storage shelving into our only closet and that is quickly getting filled up with all of Karen’s coupon purchases. We now have a year supply of cereal, leg razors, body wash, and adult hygienic wipes. We also have a 5 year supply (that’s my best guess) of toothpaste (32 tubes) and Zantac (heart burn reliever). Since we don’t use blood glucose monitors, we have a lifetime supply of those. After completing that project, I have cleaned out my tool closet and reorganized my peg board. It looks “manly” or as “manly” as a small closet in a small condo can be.

A WONDERFUL event happened happened over Memorial Day weekend…I officially graduated from San Jose State University with a Master degree in Systems Engineering and a Master degree in Business Administration. The commencement ceremony was held on Friday afternoon and I skipped it. Karen, Adelle, and I spent the afternoon at the park flying a kite, walking around the city lake, and playing on the jungle gym. I consider that afternoon ABSOLUTELY more enjoyable and worthwhile in comparison to walking in a Commencement Ceremony.
